This test interacts directly with your device's hardware digitizer using the modern W3C Pointer Events API. It tracks touch coordinates, finger contact area, touch pressure, and touch sampling frequency (Hz) directly in your browser without requiring any software installation.
How do I test my screen for dead spots or dead zones?
Switch to the Deadzone Test mode and slide your finger across the display surface. The interactive matrix lights up green as your touch registers. Any cells that remain uncolored indicate unresponsive hardware zones, digitizer trace cracks, or touch sensor defects.
How many simultaneous touch points does my device support?
Most modern smartphones (iPhone, Android) and tablets (iPad, Galaxy Tab) support up to 10 concurrent touch points. Touchscreen laptops and convertibles usually support 5 or 10 points. Check the 'Hardware Max' indicator on the bottom status bar to see your digitizer's declared hardware limit.
